The Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Kufa chaired the first session of the Education Quality Improvement Council for Nursing Faculties headed by Dr. Rajha Abdel Hassan Hamza at the Ministry’s headquarters and in charge of preparing the programmatic accreditation standards in preparation for their launch after the approval of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education soon. The first meeting was attended by Dr. Yousra Muhammad Abdullah, who welcomed A warm welcome to the president and members of the council and stressed the need to expedite the preparation of standards and that this council will be a turning point in the work of the Iraqi nursing colleges because it will push the colleges to provide what is required to start the self-evaluation after preparing the standards. Nursing colleges are the rest of the colleges that have launched or are about to launch their standards, and serious work requires that efforts be made to set these standards, which are taken from international standards, to facilitate obtaining international accreditation as a next step after national accreditation.
