A scientific symposium was held at the College of Nursing at the University of Kufa, entitled (On Down Syndrome), aimed at educating the community about this genetic syndrome and dropping some of the concepts and myths inherited from that syndrome, in addition to giving a scientific view of the change in that societal stigma. In the presence of a number of teachers, staff and a number of students of the College of Nursing in the Fundamentals of Nursing Laboratory.
