The first scientific conference was held at the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Kufa, in cooperation with Sheikh Al-Tusi University College, entitled (Quality of Nursing Education in Iraq, Challenges and Advanced Strategies).
The conference included several topics, the most important of which are modern strategies in nursing education, clinical practices in nursing, as well as nursing scientific research
During the speech delivered by the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Rajha Al-Kassar spoke about the continuous improvement of the quality of nursing education, which is the main pillar for increasing students’ motivation towards learning and acquiring skills. For the purpose of consolidating the academic outputs of the nursing colleges, this conference was held, as this conference will provide faculty members and specialists with opportunities to exchange and spread the culture of quality nursing education.
The conference aims at evaluating teaching strategies and evaluating the student’s role in the educational process, as well as developing scientific research mechanisms in nursing, sobriety theses and dissertations, and identifying the difficulties faced by clinical training, as well as the challenges facing nursing departments in health institutions.
